反服貿協議學生佔領立法院進入第三天，參加民眾已有計畫性地在立院周圍各集結點成立舞台、服務台和醫護站，打算長期駐守立院抗爭到底。服務台也湧進上百箱各類物資，甚至還有民眾打算捐贈要價十幾萬的AED(自動體外心臟電擊去顫器)。

立法院周圍的反服貿抗議活動持續升溫，越來越多民眾湧進立院周邊個集結點，記者觀察20日凌晨四點，青島東路和中山南路的民眾仍繼續「開講」，大家都可上台暢所欲言發表服貿相關議題的看法。但多數民眾僅以報紙和厚紙板墊著，便躺平在大馬路上入睡。

設置在濟南路上的服務台燈火通明，一箱箱物資源源不絕湧進，除了水和乾糧外，芭樂、蘋果、柳丁等各式水果一應俱全，另外，也有人捐贈衛生棉、口罩、棉花棒等衛生用品。學生志工說，民眾都很珍惜物資，只領取個人所需，尚無發生有人大量領取情事。

醫護處志工說，連醫護站所有醫護用品也都是民眾買來，還有民眾表示要捐贈一台要價十幾萬的AED，但「太貴重我們不敢收」遭婉拒。

有趣的是，因昨日有學生表示沒有熱水無法吃泡麵，今晚馬上有人搬來瓦斯爐和熱水瓶，志工不但幫忙煮熱水，甚至「還可以加蛋」。

凌晨五點半突然下起一陣大雨，躺在立法院周圍道路上睡覺的民眾全被驚醒，由於白日天氣晴朗，許多人沒有攜帶雨具，眾人湧進服務站急著領取雨衣或躲到騎樓下。駐守在立法院周圍的員警也換上雨衣裝備，

雨越下越大，學生很快站在舞台上向群眾信心喊話，「雨不會澆熄我們信心」。
