獅子山負責埋葬伊波拉死者的工作人員，因數周未領薪，發起罷工抗議，屍體被留在家中或大街上，恐導致疫情進一步惡化。
 
負責埋屍的工作人員周薪100美元（約台幣3000元），工作人員表示他們從事的是極端危險的工作，卻是做白工，已經兩周沒有領到薪水，讓他們無法接受。

韓國女子夯團「少女時代」隊長太妍，和師弟團「EXO」伯賢戀愛ing。她在實境節目《THE TAETISEO》中表示，她的好朋友就是「少女時代」的成員，沒有和一般人變成好朋友，很難也不容易。她並表示，他最好的異性好朋友就是「Super Junior」希澈，兩人默契十足，可以一直維持好交情，太妍並感性說：「謝謝你！」

上市櫃金控公司自結9月獲利，整體金控9月單月合計稅後純益約260億元，比8月單月獲利縮水多達約50億元，多家金控9月獲利比8月衰退的金額並不大，整體單月獲利月減約16%，主因元大金（2885）少了8月認列的併購韓國東洋證券廉價購買利益一次性大額收益所致。

9月適逢台股拉回、行情欠佳，以及銀行在季底增提備抵呆帳侵蝕獲利等因素影響，有過半數金控的9月單月獲利遜於8月，但大體來看，各家金控單月衰退的金額並不是很大，除了元大金因為9月比8月少了一次性收益而大幅縮水外，其餘還有八家金控9月獲利少於8月，單月獲利不到1億元的則有日盛金（5820）與國票金（2889），其他有五家金控9月單月獲利比8月好，分別為富邦金（2881）、中信金（2891）、兆豐金（2886）、台新金（2887）、玉山金（2884）。

藝人劉至翰本月3日在臉書上傳一張網路對話照片，內容是女演員被劇組要求陪睡的簡訊，他看不過去並罵「真TM噁心、踐踏夢想、物化女性」，不過因對話內容涉及吳奇隆，不少粉絲護主心切，湧入他微博罵他幹嘛扯四爺，吳奇隆也因此發聲明澄清絕無此事，網上吵得不可開交。
劉至翰昨深夜寫下「好心提醒，該被扭曲？！」一文，並宣布暫時關閉微博留言功能，坦言因有些網民較不理性，也不想大家在網上吵來吵去。
劉至翰自認過去的確是憤青，但近年在佛法中體會人生的道裡，因此近期較無負面新聞纏繞，他也不滿媒體拿他炒新聞，寫下「我真的搞不懂,我過得好好的妳們弄我一下幹嘛呢!!!」遭受池魚之殃心情十分無奈。（葉婉如／台北報導）
