有一段時間沒拍愛情喜劇的Sammi鄭秀文，跟金馬影帝張家輝於香港電影《失戀急讓》中首次合作，片中Sammi熱愛老公，最後卻換來老公痛罵離婚，中途誤打誤撞遇上剛失戀的張家輝，雙雙受情傷卻又被迫同居，結果不打不相識變成歡喜冤家。Sammi坦言接拍此片是因為張家輝，她說：「家輝戲好、人好，鏡頭前後都令人舒服自在。我喜歡工作認真的人，彼此互動都好合拍。」
 
導演要求兩人拍戲盡情發揮，張家輝跟Sammi親熱戲也聽話的「盡情發揮」，只是發揮得太自然，有場車中的激吻戲，兩人親得不可自拔，令客串的資深演員姜武在旁都看呆看傻眼了，張家輝解釋：「拍攝前我都有和Sammi溝通好。」（唐慧穎／綜合報導）
