大陸中紅博愛首席執行官翁濤7月25日晚10點左右在微博爆料稱，王軍被北京北京東城區公安局帶走，疑跟郭美美有關。

根據新藍網報導，王軍46歲，廣東省深圳市人，以參股方式投資房地產、基金等領域，是郭美美2011年『紅會炫富』事件中的關鍵人物。因涉嫌刑事犯罪，王軍於7月24日被北京警方依法刑事拘留。

翁濤2011年7月在接受記者採訪時曾說，王軍長期居於深圳，以前做房地產賺了錢，當時個人沒有平台公司，只是看到感興趣的專案就會做一點投資，也不參與具體管理。

翁濤介紹，在自己占90％股份的深圳物華投資有限公司，王軍透過太太的身份，投資了10％股份。物華公司收購中紅博愛時，王軍在投資中紅博愛的5000萬元(以人民幣計價，以下同)中，出了500萬元。

王軍供述，『2010年8月，我要朋友幫我介紹個女孩玩玩，朋友就介紹了郭美美。郭美美從北京飛到深圳，我為她安排了酒店，第二天我就跟她發生了關係，當時她向我要了3萬塊錢。那以後，她想要錢了就會從北京飛到深圳找我，我安排食宿並每次給她5萬塊，算是包養費。』

2011年9月，郭美美接受採訪時稱，王軍是其『乾爹』，送了一輛瑪莎拉蒂給她。王軍也曾向記者證實，2011年春節後認識郭美美，曾送她瑪莎拉蒂跑車和名包。王軍供述，郭美美要求他買一輛跑車，說是生日禮物，不買就跟他斷，後來他給了她240萬，讓她自己買的車。

『當時才19歲，就是有點害羞，不想承認男朋友比自己大那麼多，所以才說王軍是乾爹。』郭美美說，她沒想到就越扯就越扯不清楚了。王軍承認，郭美美知道他有老婆孩子，圖的就是他的錢，他看上的是郭美美的年輕，他們各有所圖而已。他後悔地說：『郭美美是我一生的惡夢！』

加拿大政府在2月宣布永久取消投資移民計畫，這項決定引發有意移民的外國富豪、特別是中國富豪的不滿，決定對加拿大政府提出告訴。
加拿大原本的投資移民政策被抨擊為中國富人進入加拿大大開方便之門。今年2月，加拿大決定取消移民投資，相關申請全部被退回，其中包括排隊等候的4萬6千多名大陸人。
律師雷希(Timothy Leahy)7日表示，將在近期內對加拿大政府提出第二項控訴。
在6月時，雷希和另一名律師已經代表1,400多名投資移民申請者，控告加拿大政府取消移民投資，其中超過1,300名申請人是來自大陸的富豪。另外111人來自英國、印度等國。
訴訟中要求完成當事人的投資移民申請，或賠償每名申請者和家屬500萬加幣(新台幣1億3,560萬元)。
加拿大自1980年代採行投資快速移民政策，外國人士若有至少80萬加幣(73萬2,533美元)淨資產，或至少投資40萬加幣，就可以取得加拿大公民權。後來這項移民門檻提高為淨資產160萬加幣，以及投資至少80萬加幣。

美國國土安全部長強生(Jeh Johnson)7日表示，在沒有成人陪伴下入境美國的非法移民孩童人數，在6至7月時減少近半。
強生發表聲明說，6月的非法越界兒童人數達1萬628人，但在7月降至5,508人。對於單獨入境美國的孩童人數減少，強生讚揚美方加強與墨西哥邊防警戒見效。
強生表示，為了對抗從德州南部里大河谷地區(Rio Grande Valley)非法潛入的移民人數變多，美方加強資源並且採取積極行動，像是增加把非法移民遣返回到中美洲的航班。
不過強生說，國土安全部處理邊界危機的經費即將耗盡，為了因應這個問題，必須從部門內的其他項目挪用4.05億美元。
強生將經費短缺歸咎於美國國會。美國國會上週在尚未表決同意提撥額外資金的情況下，就在7月31日展開夏季休假。
