英國《每日電訊報》日前報導指出，紐西蘭慈善機構「Plunket」為英國威廉王子的豪華房車安裝價值260英鎊(約1萬3039元新台幣)的兒童汽座，但威廉夫婦的小王子明明才8個月大，Plunket卻安裝一歲半以上兒童才能坐的前向汽座，引來不少批評撻伐。
 
靖娟兒童基金會執行長林月琴表示，1歲以下或10公斤以下嬰幼兒，因頸部和脊椎尚未發育完全，須使用可平躺的後向式兒童汽座，以免小孩因汽車行進間所產生的劇烈搖晃而傷到頸部。此外，由於後向式汽座安裝步驟較繁複，林月琴建議家長購買時要請店員現場示範安裝，並索取教學光碟或手冊，回家才能妥善安裝。（王劭瑜、沈欣蓓／綜合報導）

三名來自阿拉伯聯合大公國的婦女，6日清晨在倫敦四星級康柏蘭酒店房間遭到歹徒用錘子暴烈攻擊，頭臉受重傷。

這些30多歲的遊客，有一人傷勢特別嚴重。事發時在隔壁房間睡覺的三名七歲至12歲孩子未受傷害。

警方把這個事件列為企圖殺人，並表示有個白人男子進入這些婦女的七樓房間，可能企圖行竊，可是有個婦女突然驚醒，對方於是用錘子予以重擊，接著攻擊另兩名婦女，最後衣服沾滿血跡逃走。

這些來自富裕家庭的婦女是到倫敦觀光採購，事發時她們的旅館房間並未上鎖，因為她們還有其他家人同行。

有1000個房間的康柏蘭酒店位於海德公園和牛津街購物區附近。

我背景是大學政治學系 研究所改唸區域研究 雖然校名聽起來不錯 但畢竟不是吃香的系所 所以現在找工作面臨到一些困難，希望前人能給點意見 自己英文還ok，多益800多 托福有破百 經歷就只有服過替代役 但找工作時開始面臨到社科背景似乎只有NGO 和一些助理工作 薪水大概都在25K~35K 其實要在台北生活是有點不易(我要還學貸) 如果要轉行業 是不是科技業幾乎沒望(排除行政職以外) 父母是很希望我考公職，但私心想到外面工作 (我自己曾地方特考有過，但私人因素放棄 所以給自己的薪水期望也不希望低於一個標準) 不曉得有沒有社科領域出來轉行業的經歷可給參考 謝謝! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 114.41.244.90 ※ 文章網址: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Salary/M.1396907305.A.689.html
