（中央社底特律28日綜合外電報導）美國職棒大聯盟MLB底特律老虎隊今天宣布，將與強棒卡布瑞拉續約8年到2023年，加上剩下兩年合約的薪資4400萬美元，將締造10年2億9200萬美元（近台幣89億元）天價肥約。

巨砲卡布瑞拉（Miguel Cabrera）曾獲打擊三冠王榮銜，他與老虎隊（Tigers）簽有8年1億5230萬美元的長約，將於2015年期滿。

隊方在佛羅里達州宣布，將以2億4800萬美元高價和他續約8年，今後10年合約總金額達2億9200萬美元，超越紐約洋基隊（Yankees）三壘手羅德里格斯（AlexRodriguez）2007年簽約的10年2億7500萬美元紀錄。

老虎隊總經理鄧布勞斯基（Dave Dombrowski）表示：「隊上有明星球員時，最好是在合約還剩兩年時就設法續約，不要等到只剩一年。」

這項新約的平均年薪達3100萬美元，也打破洛杉磯道奇隊（Dodgers）投手克肖（Clayton Kershaw）保持的3071萬4286美元紀錄。克肖1月間與道奇簽下7年2億1500萬美元合約。

委內瑞拉籍的卡布瑞拉下個月滿31歲，他過去兩個球季都獲選最有價值球員。他在2012年贏得打擊三冠王榮銜，成為1967年以來首位打擊率、全壘打數和打點都傲視兩個聯盟的球員。(中央社)
