巴紐強震未傳災情 海嘯警報解除

美國地質調查所指出，巴布亞紐幾內亞外海19日深夜發生規模7.5強震。位於夏威夷的太平洋海嘯警報中心針對巴紐及索羅門群島發布海嘯警報，但海嘯警報隨後解除。

美國地質調查所（USGS）指出，深夜11時30分稍前發生的這起強震，震央位於布干維爾島（Bougainville）潘古納鎮（Panguna）西南方75公里處，震源深度31公里。目前未傳出傷亡或損害消息。

美國地質調查所指出，約20分鐘後同一地區又發生規模5.6地震，震源深度69公里。
