跟細菌搶時間　食物掉地5秒內還可吃

食物掉地，網路流傳「只要5秒內撿起還可吃」，英國阿斯頓大學（Aston University）的研究首次證實，5秒內因細菌還未附到食物，因此仍可食用。

今日出版的《聯合報》報導，該研究團隊把烤麵包及濕黏的糖果等不同濕度的食物，與木板、磁磚以及地毯等3種類型的地板接觸，時間3秒到30秒間，觀察大腸桿菌及金黃色葡萄球菌從地面轉移至食物上的情形。結果發現，濕黏的糖果接觸地面5秒後附著細菌為最快；濕度較低的烤麵包30秒後才有細菌；食物濕度越高，越易吸附地板上細菌。另，掉落到地毯上的食物最難附著細菌。（陳亮諭／綜合報導）
