太魯閣號將維修 普悠瑪號上陣支援

台鐵局表示，由於太魯閣號列車自97年投入營運至今已達6年，為確保車輛運轉安全及性能，整體車隊將陸續進廠維修保養，4月29日起將暫時以普悠瑪號替駛太魯閣號，開行一班西部幹線列車，分別是271次及282次。

台鐵局機務處長柳燦煌表示，五組太魯閣號將陸續進場維修，預計明年4月完成，這段期間內雖每天有一往返列車由普悠瑪號替駛，但不會影響東部幹線的運能，搭乘西部幹線的民眾有機會搭到普悠瑪號。
