印度西部火車脫軌 至少10死57傷

印度西部商業大城孟買(Mumbai)附近，今天(4日)發生一起載客列車的脫軌事件，造成至少10名乘客死亡及57人受傷的慘劇，而且部份受傷的乘客傷勢嚴重。
當地警官辛德(Ankush Shinde)說，這起火車脫軌事件發生在孟買南方約110公里的羅哈(Roha)火車站附近，事件造成機車頭跟4節車廂擠成一團。
辛德說，搜救人員使用瓦斯切割器，切開脫軌後倒塌的車廂外殼，救出受困在裡面的乘客，再使用起重機吊起這些倒在一旁的車廂。
目前還不清楚列車脫軌事件發生的原因。
火車意外在印度是司空見慣的交通事件，而且印度也是全球火車網絡最密集的國家之一，平均1天有2,000萬人搭火車，至於意外發生的原因，主要都是跟管理不善和人為疏失有關。
