家庭趣事／只能撿菜葉

我們是雙薪的小家庭，我領的是基層的公家薪水，妻則在私人企業上班。妻的薪水雖然優渥，卻犧牲了許多家庭時間，常忙到小孩上床後才回家，尤其最近頻繁的加班，身體也出現警訊，於是她慎重的考慮要回歸家庭，當個專職的主婦。

有一天，我們在餐桌上討論著，妻說：「如果我離職，光靠你一份薪水，我們會不會每天只能吃豆芽菜呀？」

「豆芽菜？我想我們只能撿拾菜攤丟棄的菜葉吧！」我笑著回答，想不到孩子們都聽進耳裡了。

周末上午，我如往常上菜市場買菜，我一出門，兒子便從房間衝出來，憂心忡忡地問他媽媽：「爸爸真的出去撿菜葉嗎？」妻聽了大笑說：「傻兒子，還不到那時候呢！」
