注射死刑惹議　死刑犯獲延後半年處死

美國奧克拉荷馬州4月29日一38歲死囚洛基特（Clayton Lockett），執行藥物注射死刑，在被判定失去意識後掙扎起身，血管爆裂，拖了43分鐘才因心臟病死亡。外界批評殘忍不人道。

原定在同天也須接受死刑的查爾斯華納（Charles Warner），則因此暫緩延到5月13日執行，華納的律師之後提出申訴，要求暫緩半年執行，8日奧克拉荷馬檢察長同意暫緩，以調查洛基特的處決過程是否有疏失，華納將於11月13日接受死刑。

洛基特1999年綁架並槍擊一名19歲女性，下令共犯將被害者活埋致死，並強暴受害者有人，被判死刑。華納則因1997年強暴並殺死室友11個月大的女兒被判死刑。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
