土耳其礦災 增至299死

土耳其能源部長尤迪茲(Taner Yildiz)今天(17日)表示，土耳其史上最嚴重礦災的死亡人數已攀升超過200人，而今天發生的一起火災更阻礙了救援進度。
同時，尤迪茲向記者表示，根據家屬的證詞，可能還有3名礦工仍受困礦坑中。
土耳其西部馬尼沙省(Manisa)索瑪鎮(Soma)的1處煤礦區13日爆炸起火，事發當時估計有787名工人在礦坑內工作。目前已有485人逃出或獲救。
該礦坑的另一段坑道今天傳出火災，距離原來事故地點大約250公尺，使得救援任務雪上加霜。
這起礦災已引發土耳其各地的反政府示威活動。土耳其八月將舉行大選，現任總理艾爾段(Tayyip Erdogan)預計將贏得勝選。
土耳其鎮暴警察16日對索瑪鎮數千名示威群眾發射催淚瓦斯、塑膠子彈以及強力水柱，試圖驅離這些和平示威者。
