美國佛羅里達州清水灘(Clearwater Beach)26日分別發生3起槍擊案，其中1起就發生在當地的凱悅飯店(Hyatt Regency)外。清水市發言人凱斯特利(Joelle Castelli)說，有2人被射傷。
凱斯特利透過電子郵件表示，26日的槍擊案起因於爭吵，看來不像是隨機式攻擊。她說第一起報案電話是在晚間6點48分左右。當局在槍擊案發生後已封鎖海灘，只有出示居住證明的人能夠出入，目前警方仍在海灘進行搜索。
根據「坦帕灣論壇時報」(Tampa Tribune)，有5名嫌犯已遭到拘留，當局正準備扣留第六名嫌犯，這些槍擊案可能和黑道的紛爭有關。
