為愛結婚 巴基斯坦婦女遭家人當眾砸死

警方和辯護律師表示，巴基斯坦1名婦女今天(27日)在高等法院前面，被她的將近20位親人用石頭砸死，只因為她嫁給她愛的人。
警方表示，這名婦女的父親、兄弟和其他親人，光天化日在高等法院前面，以及群眾圍觀之下，用棍子和磚塊，攻擊這名婦女和她的丈夫，直到將這名婦女打死為止。
這名婦女是25歲的帕文(Farzana Parveen)，她在家人反對之下，跟訂婚多年的伊克巴爾(Mohammad Iqbal)結婚。
帕文的律師表示，帕文的父親以綁架的罪名控告45歲的伊克巴爾，但遭到這對戀人抗辯。
在保守的巴基斯坦，一般規範是婚姻依然由父母安排，為愛結婚常被視為違犯風俗。
在穆斯林佔多數的巴基斯坦，每年都有好幾百名婦女在所謂的「榮譽謀殺」中被殺，這些殺人的行為都是由丈夫或親戚執行，以作為通姦或其他非法性行為的懲罰。
