槍擊案頻繁　美研發防彈毯

墨西哥莫爾市去年發生一起校園槍擊案件，造成7名學生死亡。這起案件引起美國奧克拉荷馬州一家安全產品公司的關注，該公司受此啟發，發明了一種易穿戴的防彈毯，以保護中小學生在槍戰中免遭生命危險。 　　

這種防彈毯為長方形，8公厘厚，配有肩帶方便學生穿戴，能夠擋住9公厘口徑手槍的子彈。參與防彈毯研發的奧克拉荷馬州大學航空航太機械工程系的教授漢娜稱，他們使用了高密度防彈塑膠，這種材質可以阻擋釘子、金屬片等尖銳物品。 　　

據防彈毯的設計公司ProTecht透露，這款產品已經通過了防彈測試，可以抵擋住來自9公厘口徑手槍的子彈，10個月前，他們開始生產這款防彈毯，近幾周開始面向市場銷售，每個防彈毯的售價大概1000美元。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
