歐盟財政部長今天發表聯合聲明，支持立陶宛成為歐元區第19個成員。立陶宛預計從從明年1月1日起，正式加入歐元區。

今天舉行的歐盟財長會議中，各國財政部長接受歐洲聯盟執行委員會日前的提案，認為立陶宛符合加入歐元區的標準，同意接受立陶宛在明年1月1日正式加入歐元區，成為第19個成員。

歐盟財長會議結束後發表共同聲明表示，立陶宛的法規體系符合歐盟規範，在穩定價格、政府預算與外匯穩定等方面的表現也符合歐盟標準，因此同意讓立陶宛成為最新一個歐元區成員。

在歐盟財長的支持下，歐洲理事會將就立陶宛加入歐元區一事諮詢歐洲議會意見，並在月底的高峰會上進行討論，做出最後決定。(中央社)
