台灣女將謝淑薇今天在溫布頓網球比賽女單首輪，遭捷克選手史密柯娃以直落二擊敗，無緣晉級；今年她將繼續與中國大陸好手彭帥合作女雙賽事。

今年是世界排名第170的捷克選手史密柯娃（Tereza Smitkova）第1次打進溫網會內賽，她終場以6比3、6比3擊敗謝淑薇，全場比賽僅59分鐘。

這是謝淑薇第6度參加溫網女單比賽，最佳成績是2012年打進第3輪，對於無緣晉級，失望之情盡寫在她的臉上。

謝淑薇去年和彭帥聯手拿下溫網女雙冠軍，成為台灣奪得溫網冠軍的第1人，今年這對「海峽組合」再攜手勇奪法網女雙冠軍，今年被溫網列為女雙第1種子，外界都期待她們能再次高奏凱歌，抱獎而歸。(中央社)
