隨著「小皇帝」LeBron James重返克里夫蘭騎士，休士頓火箭也立刻決定將「哈佛小子」林書豪送走，落腳處相當「巧妙」，洛杉磯湖人。

根據《ESPN》率先爆料，火箭已經打包林書豪與一個2015年首輪選秀權，還可能再加上一張未來次輪籤，湖人只需付出現金。

原本傳聞火箭將送林書豪去費城七六人，不過最後並未成真。

NBA生涯不過4個球季的林書豪，湖人將是他第4個東家，無巧不巧，他生涯單場最高得分紀錄38分出現過兩次，當中一次的苦主就是湖人。

林書豪擋拆功力一流，曾有美媒認為他應該到湖人跟著這方面屬於「大師級」的Steve Nash學習，兩人的球風也有類似之處，如今竟然真的如願。
