倪福德目前待在獨立聯盟紐澤西河鯊隊，徐裴翊特別前往河鯊隊主場所在地，瞭解倪福德 的近況。倪福德表態不排除回台，所以期待在獨立聯盟投出好的成績，以去除球團對自己 投球狀況的疑慮。 倪福德透露，獨立聯盟開季至今一直想要取得先發的位置，自下半季後倪福德與總教練商 量能否轉任先發，不過巡迴表演者隊沒有空出來的先發輪值，所以轉隊至河鯊隊爭取先發 的機會。 倪福德12日在客場首度先發，只投2.1局失掉4分，表現不盡理想，倪福德表示，「因為太 久沒有先發的感覺，所以球隊說會慢慢讓我調整。」倪福德23日第2次先發，主投4局，被 擊出4支安打，僅失1分，比9天前表現還要好。 ETtoday體育新聞 | ETtoday 新聞雲 http://www.ettoday.net/news/20140723/381485.htm#ixzz38HPDMOuR http://static.ettoday.net/images/676/d676959.jpg
