虛擬軟體大廠VMware大中華區總裁宋家瑜近期升任全球副總裁。他主要的業務仍是看大中華區市場。但也因為他的高升，大中華區地位更顯重要。

宋家瑜原本是個老IBM人，50歲那年決定投入新創公司－雲端及虛擬化大廠VMware，擔任大中華區總裁。

宋家瑜在VMware短短5、6年期間，大中華區營收就高速成長了20倍。他一開始上任時，擬定「中國投資戰略1.0」，並向總部發下「未來4年內業績可成長10倍」的豪語，事實證明，這個目標提早1年完成。

到了2013年底時，短短5年，業績已經成長20倍。
