新疆重量級伊斯蘭教士遇害 警方殺2嫌逮1人

中國官方媒體今天(31日)報導，新疆市喀什市一座知名清真寺的教長居馬．塔依爾(Jume Tahir)在30日清晨遭到謀殺，而警方已經擊斃2名涉案嫌犯，並且逮捕了另外1人。
這是官方首度證實，塔依爾在30日凌晨遭到謀殺。
塔依爾是喀什著名的艾提尕爾清真寺的教長，同時也強烈支持中國政府有關伊斯蘭的政策。但是批評者指出，中國的這些政策嚴格限制穆斯林的活動。
新疆最近暴力事件頻傳。新華社在29日晚間報導，新疆莎車縣28日清晨發生一起恐怖攻擊，暴徒持刀斧攻擊公安局和政府機關，公安開槍，總共造成百人死傷。
