何潤東痛心高雄發生氣爆慘劇，他在微博哀悼：「為什麼上天一直在考驗我們…不斷的天災人禍。請大家為罹難者與傷者祈福，還有那四位犧牲的英勇消防隊員。」並捐出100萬元給4位殉職人員。他的經紀人辛誌諭是高雄人，表示氣爆地離家有一小段距離，沒有被波及，但也同樣感傷與難過。（吳惠菁／綜合報導）
