鑽石聯賽 名將法拉打破紀錄

（圖／法新社）（圖／法新社）（法新社倫敦24日電） 英國長跑名將法拉今天在國際田徑鑽石聯賽伯明罕站（Birmingham）男子2英里賽打破奧維特36年來的英國紀錄，1年多來首度以地主之姿出賽，表現亮眼。

法拉（Mo Farah）跑出8分07秒85成績，輕鬆超越1980年奧運男子800公尺金牌得主奧維特（Steve Ovett）保持的8分13秒51紀錄。

法拉曾在奧運、世界田徑錦標賽和歐洲田徑錦標賽贏得男子5000公尺和1萬公尺金牌。

法拉說：「開跑後不久我覺得有點累，之後慢慢漸入佳境。」「我一直看著時間，心想『我可以做得到』。」（譯者：中央社盧映孜）
