為10萬美金 昔日新人王被賣

晉級無望的遊騎兵隊，把捕手Geovany Soto賣到運動家隊，換取10萬美金。

31歲的Soto，因為開刀治療膝蓋、腳踝，本季從傷兵名單出發，7月中復出後，又在21日跑壘時拉傷，8月8日才回到場上。

24日對皇家之戰，Soto開賽前被移出先發名單，改由Robinson Chirinos入替。當時大家議論紛紛，現在答案揭曉，原來是Soto換了新東家。

Soto從小熊隊出道，2008年敲出23轟、打擊率0.285，拿下新人王，但拿獎後，無法打出符合期待的成績。2012年打擊極為低迷，季中轉到遊騎兵，也未見起色。

運動家隊已經有John Jaso、Derek Norris、Stephen Vogt等捕手，但這些捕手的防守功力，都不如Soto。

至於遊騎兵隊這邊，可能從3A叫上23歲的Tomas Telis，這位捕手今年在小聯盟出賽106場，打擊率0.318。

遊騎兵目前戰績50勝79敗，美聯墊底，分區落後第一名天使隊27場，晉級早已無望。運動家戰績76勝53敗，同區第2，落後天使隊一場。就算運動家拿不到分區冠軍，也有外卡機會。
