Nokia's HERE Maps Comes to Samsung Galaxy Devices

Samsung 和 Google 的關係現在有一些緊張，前者的新舉動又多少加劇了這種情況。他們最近與 Nokia 達成了一項新協議，繼 Tizen 裝置之後，Galaxy 系列的 Android 手機也將能獲得 Nokia Here Maps 的加持了（Beta 版 10 月上線）。這是 Nokia 的地圖服務首次出現在 Google 的行動平台之上，讓用戶在 Google Maps 之外又多了一個頗為靠譜的選擇。

Nokia 在分離掉智慧型手機業務之後，對 Here 服務的投入比過去翻了一番。而且有了自由身，就可以自己來選擇合作對象，Amazon、Jolla 等過去的對手如今都與 Nokia 建立起了關係，而其中最大牌的，毫無疑問就是 Samsung 了。這次的 Android 版 Nokia Here Maps 將具備許多 Google Maps 已有的功能，在某些地方還能為 Google 所不能。比如說它支援真正的離線地圖，在 95 個國家都可以使用。另外還有 LiveSight，可以利用虛擬標誌為使用者導航。看到這裡可能有人會問，要是自己沒有 Samsung 手機的話怎麼辦？不用擔心，等到今年末的時候，Nokia Here Maps 就會出現在更多其它 Android 裝置之上了。
