mac與自組電腦的選擇

大家好!最近有預算想要幫家裡換台新的電腦
因為以前都是自己組電腦居多
發現身邊的同學都是用mac居多
說是mac效能很強，系統很穩定，工作絕對比自組電腦效率還好
但是自己對蘋果的東西瞭解不多，所以希望上來問問各路高手的一些意見

因為科系的關係大部分都是用adobe的軟體(ai做設計、ps繪圖、ae影片剪輯、dw寫網頁...)
空閒時會玩玩POE、GW2、LOL跟一些單機的大作預算在5w以下

自組電腦的部分---

(I7四核4.0GHz搭R9-290，OS灌Win7，SSD做為系統碟、HDD當資料碟，因為扣掉主機預算還足夠所以換了鍵盤跟滑鼠)

Mac Mini---

(mac的部分就比較固定了，i7 四核2.3Ghz，256的SSD、16G的RAM，因為要玩game所以會裝虛擬系統灌win7)

因為自己有買了比較好的螢幕所以就不考慮imac了，以上
蘋果電腦的os真的有大家所說的如此強大嗎?
希望大家能提供一些意見給我
