索特洛夫家屬：他犧牲生命　為無法發聲者發聲

遜尼派激進組織「伊斯蘭國」（Islamic State，IS）周二發布斬首第二名美國記者索特洛夫（Steven Sotloff）的影片，令世人驚駭。索特洛夫的家人周三發表聲明，稱去年8月在敘利亞採訪時遭綁架的索特洛夫，「只是想為無法發聲者發聲」，但他「終究為了讓全世界知道敘利亞人民的苦況，而犧牲自己的生命」。
 
家屬在聲明中說，索特洛夫「不是英雄」，「他像我們一樣，只是想在黑暗世界中找到善意。如果善意不存在，他則試圖創造出來。」家屬說，他們至感哀慟，「但我們將走出困境……我們不會讓敵人用他們唯一的武器──恐懼，將我們綁架。」

美國總統歐巴馬已表示，美國的目標是要「摧毀」伊斯蘭國，副總統拜登也矢言，美國會將伊斯蘭國「驅趕到地獄之門」。 （李寧怡／綜合外電報導）
