本報訊

（中央社洛杉磯3日綜合外電報導）索尼影業今天表示，美國性格男星喬治克隆尼（George Clooney）將執導有關英國電話竊聽醜聞的電影。

這部電影將根據「衛報」（Guardian）記者戴維斯（Nick Davies）書籍「駭客攻擊」（Hack Attack，暫譯）改編，描述媒體大亨梅鐸（Rupert Murdoch）新聞帝國的竊聽風暴。這個醜聞最後讓「世界新聞報」（News of the World）關門。

喬治克隆尼透過索尼影業表聲明說：「這集合一切元素，包含倫敦最大報業對政府最高層級的謊言、貪腐和勒索。」

他說：「最棒的是，這是真實故事。戴維斯是勇敢且固執的記者，我們認為能將他的書拍成電影非常光榮。」

哥倫比亞影業（Columbia Pictures）製片人德魯卡（Michael De Luca）說：「身為記者之子，喬治克隆尼對新聞在我們日常生活中的角色有濃烈興趣。」

德魯卡表示，喬治克隆尼將透過「駭客攻擊」探索新聞世界的黑暗面，也就是在競逐金錢下新聞規範全都被打破了。

索尼影業說，新電影將於明年開拍，上映日期未定。(中央社)
