巴基斯坦季風暴雨 至少44死

巴基斯坦緊急救難部發言人薩嘉德(Jam Sajjad)表示，巴國因為季風時節出現暴雨，導致各地山洪爆發，目前已知造成超過30人死亡，而且官員也警告民眾，注意防範可能隨時出現的即時大雨和湍急的洪水災害。
薩嘉德說，其中死亡人數最多的是巴國最富庶且人口最多的旁遮普省(Punjab)，該省省會拉合爾(Lahore)有1棟建築物因暴雨而造成屋頂坍塌，造成13人喪生。
過去4年間，巴國遭遇死傷最為慘重的季風暴雨和洪災，去年造成178人死亡，並有約150萬人受到各地洪水的影響。
因為季風暴雨帶來的災情慘重，巴國政府遭到嚴厲批評，指在對抗季風暴雨的危險做得不夠，無法緩解因暴雨沖走住屋和農田的災害。
另外，薩嘉德說：「過去24小時，旁遮普省的其他地方，也發生暴雨造成房屋屋頂坍塌，造成至少25人死亡。」
他說，死者包括婦女和兒童，並有28人受傷。
至於在巴國占領下的喀什米爾(Kashmir)地區，也傳出有6人因季風暴雨而死亡，並有6人因此而受傷。
2010年的季風暴雨所造成的災害，是巴國史上最嚴重的1年，當年有1,800人遇害，並有2,100萬人受到影響，並演變成重大的人道危機。
