克利夫蘭Fed銀行總裁Loretta Mester周四說，由於購債計劃已更接近結束，聯準會(Fed)現在需要改寫其前瞻指引。

目前，Fed的聲明承諾，在購債計劃結束後--預期在10月，將維持利率於接近零水平一段「相當期間」。

Mester的談話，讓她加入了鷹派Fed總裁Charles Plosser的陣營。在上次Fed的聲明中，Plosser係持反對意見，因為他要求刪除「相當期間」這句措辭。

在對匹茲堡經濟俱樂部發表演說時，Mester說，現在經濟「基礎已更加穩固。」

她預測未來18個月，經濟成長速度約為3%，並說到年底，失業率將下降至5.5%。

Mester於6月加入克利夫蘭Fed。她今年為Fed政策委員會中，具有投票權的委員。
