新藥「見光死」　英膽道癌病患治病包緊緊

英國58歲婦人威廉斯(Irene Williams)去年11月被診斷患上膽道癌亦稱為膽管癌(bile duct carcinoma)，醫生提議她試用新藥「Amphinex」治療，威廉斯成為全球首位試用這款新藥的病人。

不過，由於該藥物會對光線產生反應，威廉斯出外時需將自己全身包覆，以免接觸到光線。 威廉斯注射新藥後，需透過雷射照射啟動，然後便會入侵癌細胞將之擊破。威廉斯還需同時接受化療增強藥效。

威廉斯留院兩周後出院，但由於光線會影響藥效，她出院回家後也要把窗簾全部關上。由於膽道癌無法透過手術治癒，這款新藥有望為患者帶來希望。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
