上個月底才加入金鶯，迪亞薩（Alejandro De Aza）今天單場轟出雙響砲，貢獻3分打點，幫助金鶯4比1擊敗紅襪，金鶯分區封王的魔術數字減到9。

來到金鶯目前出賽5場，全部出現安打，此役擔任先發2棒左外野手，迪亞薩4次打擊，擊出3支安打，包含首局的致勝2分砲。

賽後迪亞薩表示，我想要成為球隊的一份子，並非以全壘打為目標，但打出全壘打也很不錯。

雖然金鶯先發投手提爾曼（Chris Tillman）第4局也被對手敲出全壘打，但僅是紅襪全場唯一分數，終場金鶯以3分之差取得3連勝，使紅襪吞下3連敗。

拿下這場勝利，金鶯近13場比賽中取得10勝，在美聯東區封王的魔術數字減到9，結束與紅襪系列賽後，將分別與紐約洋基、多倫多藍鳥交手。

另外，今晚揮出本季第25轟的金鶯主砲瓊斯（Adam Jones）認為，魔術數字尚未變成0，並且確定晉級季後賽之前，球員們還是要做好自己的工作。

本場是金鶯本季第23場單場至少轟出3發全壘打的比賽，金鶯在這23場比賽，大獲全勝，目前累積85勝59敗，依舊位居美聯東區龍頭。
