標題[請問] 一句英文翻譯

Sharing sensor network data for applications like water quality monitoring may not be discouraged 請問這句怎麼翻才通順 我這篇是關於big data的論文，看到like water quality monitoring may not be discouraged覺得怪怪的 個別的單字我懂，但合在一起完全不會翻 自己翻是：就像水的性質監督可能不被阻礙 感覺monitoring完全翻錯了 查了monitoring不管是動詞、形容詞都是查到監督的意思 請問這句怎麼翻才通順 --
