餿油風暴　李遠哲：政府應考慮設專責單位

中研院院士李遠哲今受邀到台積電盃青年尬科學決賽進行大師講座，對於近來爆發餿水油食安事件，李遠哲受訪時說，企業應該對社會有責任，不能把有害人體的東西就這樣賣出去；政府除監督應做得更好外，也應考慮由專責單位分析食品安全。
 
但李遠哲說，還是有些企業是很負責任的，包括義美等不用塑化劑等；企業不應該為了貪圖利益，不擇手段。

李遠哲說，如果大家能少吃肉、多吃蔬菜的，對地球是比較友善的，也能減少轉換過程中的污染。（唐鎮宇／台北報導）
