重返大聯盟 田中將大奪13勝

日籍強投田中將大歸隊首戰面對藍鳥，先發5.1局被敲出5支安打，只失1分，洋基隊友慶祝「神之子」重返大聯盟，單場轟出3發全壘打，終場以5:2獲勝，幫助田中最後拿下本季第13勝。

田中將大趕在季賽結束前回到洋基，在球團保護下，面對藍鳥只投70球就被換下場，其中48球是好球，除了5支安打外，沒有出現任何保送，另外飆出4次三振，只在首局失掉1分。

隊友也相當捧場，麥肯(Brian McCann)單場貢獻兩轟，賈納(Brett Gardner)也有全壘打的演出，幫助洋基贏球。
