台南無車日　超級英雄宣示節能減碳

今天是世界無車日，也是台南市公車日，為鼓勵民眾多搭乘公共運輸，重視環境保護，市府交通局今天下午與全球1千5百個城市同步響應節能滅碳，特別選在台南火車站正對面的公車南站，舉辦關掉公車引擎活動響應，同時間全市公車約有352輛將靠站或靠邊暫時關掉引擎22秒，之後才再啟動引擎，繼續行駛載客服務行程。
 
無車日活動首先登場的是綠巨人浩克、超人、美國隊長等裝扮人物，腳踩高蹺和正妹在火車站中間圓環舉牌，向路過人車宣導低碳綠運輸和愛護環境觀念。
 
下午2時22分，市長賴清德登上公車，關掉引擎熄火22秒，為活動揭開序幕後，市長賴清德接著帶領官員高呼「台南無車日，低碳愛地球」口號，並呼籲市民一起搭乘公車，響應低碳環保救地球。（劉榮輝／台南報導）
