印度計程車證　首次允許女性申請

印度通運輸部首次允許女性申請在孟買駕駛計程車，受到熱烈響應，已有221名女性申請許可。另外，還有3位變性人也進行申請。 　　

印度交通部官員稱，在印度當計程車司機對於女性而言並不容易，這一行沒有工會，女性司機也不得不面對各種各樣的乘客，雖然工作風險高，但仍有超過200名女性申請許可。另外，區域交通辦公室的官員稱，該部門也首次收到變性人的申請，其中2人來自孟買南部，而1人來自郊區。 　　

孟買地區這次共有27220人申請7800個許可證，10月10日，將通過抽籤方式分配。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
