感染伊波拉 明年恐140萬人

（法新社華盛頓23日電） 美國衛生當局今天公布的最糟景況估計指出，至2015年1月以前，賴比瑞亞和獅子山共和國境內伊波拉病毒感染例可能會暴增到140萬例。

美國疾病管制暨預防中心（CDC）估計指出，至2015年1月20日以前，這兩個西非國家境內的伊波拉感染例，可能介於55萬至140萬例之間

CDC發表報告說，前述估計依據的假設是，這波全球歷來最嚴重伊波拉疫情，未充分通報情況嚴重，實際感染例可能高達2.5倍。

但CDC強調指出，這項預測，依據的是8月分可得數據。因而美國政府最近宣布的伸援伊波拉措施並未列入考量，包括派遣3000名美軍進駐伊波拉肆虐地區等。

CDC發表聲明說：「大規模的立即行動，諸如已展開的那些行動，能讓疫情邁向感染例開始急速下滑的轉捩點。」

CDC首長佛利登（Tom Frieden）表示：「如果我們動作夠快，我們就能扭轉情勢。我有信心，最可怖景象將不會出現。」
