由浙江省政府和臺灣貿易中心主辦的2014杭州臺灣名品博覽會，將於10月17日在杭州和平國際會展中心開幕，展會將持續至10月20日結束，為期4天。

根據臺灣網報導，臺灣貿易中心每年均舉辦臺灣精品選拔，獲獎產品在研發、設計、質量、營銷等方面都有出色的表現。此次『臺灣精品館』首度來到杭州，特別規劃了『高新科技』、『精緻生活』、『運動休閒』、『居家醫療』與『行動空拍』等五大主題，精選74家臺灣知名品牌、多達140件優質產品，來呈現給大陸各地客商與杭州市民，為這個人文薈萃的城市注入一股臺灣精品的精緻氣息。

據悉，此次展出的精品是2014年度最新從1200多件臺灣高端製造業產品中選拔而出，代表臺灣製造業的先進水平，其中11件精品更是被評為『全球第一』的優良精品。

臺灣貿易中心負責人表示，除了11項全球第一的亮點產品，臺灣精品館內還有多款2014年臺灣精品金銀質獎產品，並由現場專業、親切的導覽人員解說，讓民眾能更深入了解臺灣精品的特色，歡迎杭州市民前來零距離體驗臺灣精品的創新精神與品牌價值。
