（中央社布魯塞爾15日綜合外電報導）歐洲衛生部長們明天在布魯塞爾集會時，將考慮在歐洲聯盟各地機場對旅客篩檢伊波拉病毒。

儘管歐盟各國政府有針對衛生和醫療問題訂定各自指導方針的自由，歐盟官員今天表示，英國基於大眾對伊波拉病從西非擴散的憂心高漲，早已實施入境篩檢，預料其他27個歐盟成員國將會跟進。

歐盟執行委員會說，鑑於旅客在疫區離境時業已經過篩檢，加上離開非洲機場到抵達歐洲之間出現感染症狀的低可能性，它仍在考慮入境篩檢的效益。

這名歐盟官員說，入境篩檢的1項主要因素在於，告知抵達的旅客，如果稍後覺得不適時該怎麼做，特別是讓他們知道，出現伊波拉症狀後不要不先告知醫院，就冒然跑到醫院。(中央社)
