是誰救了癌末的老爺爺？答案就是鬼新娘。一般人看見鬼，內心都會充滿恐懼，但在英國的這位老爺爺，卻認為「鬼新娘」是他的守護神。

據英國《鏡報》報導，1名老爺爺鮑伯（Bob Large）罹患膀胱癌，醫生判斷所剩的日子不多，日前20歲的孫子克里斯（Chris Leadbetter）到醫院探望老爺爺，並替爺爺拍下最後身影。

回家整理照片時意外發現，照片中爺爺身旁疑似有幽靈出現，是一個帶著頭紗的女子，更神奇的是，拍下這張照片後，爺爺的病情好轉目前已經出院了。

克里斯把照片拿給家人們看，大家都非常震驚。他也將照片拿到醫院給醫護人員看，但他們一點都不驚訝，並表示有很多重症病患都看過她。

爺爺看過照片後，內心一點都不害怕，甚至覺得「鬼新娘」就是守護他的天使，覺得自己受到眷顧，幸運的病情好轉，還可以出院。
