（中央社華盛頓9日綜合外電報導）美國總統歐巴馬承認，民主黨在期中選舉慘敗，他責無旁貸。共和黨在4日的選舉大勝民主黨，不但擴大在國會眾議院多數優勢，也奪得參議院控制權，全面掌控國會。

歐巴馬在哥倫比亞廣播公司新聞網（CBS News）今天播出的專訪中說：「我們被擊敗了。」

他表示：「此事我責無旁貸。身為黨的領袖，無論何時黨表現不好，我都要負起責任。」1031109
