希臘北部最大城塞薩洛尼基（Thessaloniki）日前舉辦活動「Feeding5000（餵飽5千人）」，將2噸廢棄蔬果進行烹煮，提供給參加者食用。

據外媒報導，塞薩洛尼基舉辦「Feeding5000」活動，將一些賣相不佳等原因遭商家淘汰的蔬果，製作成水果沙拉、薄餅、大鍋菜，提供給5千多名參加活動者享用。

主辦方表示，活動目的是為讓大眾理解，先進社會浪費食物的現象。並補充，這些產品完全可食用，但全球每年約有30％食物因不同原因被丟棄、浪費。
