波波維奇（Gregg Popovich）歸隊，重執教鞭。馬刺5人得分上雙，格林（Danny Green）18分6籃板，鄧肯（Tim Duncan）14分8籃板，迪奧（Boris Diaw）15分7籃板，李納德（Kawhi Leonard）12分6籃板。

塞爾提克4連敗，朗度（Rajon Rondo）2分6籃板10助攻，傑夫-格林（Jeff Green）16分。

首節馬刺以25：22領先，不過塞爾提克次節一波14：2攻勢，一舉以36：27超前。兩隊一度戰成45：45，上半場塞爾提克以49：45領先。

下半場馬刺以66：40大勝。第三節兩隊交替領先，比分差距只有5分，綠衫軍在攻防兩端出現問題，馬刺以78：73領先，進入最後一節。

末節，馬刺終於展現衛冕冠軍風采，單節打出33：16的得分，終場前6分11秒，馬刺以94：79拉開差距，最終以22分的優勢輕鬆勝出。
