〔自由時報記者林三豐／綜合報導〕金鶯今年冬天特別冷，克魯茲轉戰水手，馬卡奇斯投奔勇士，米勒也落腳洋基，眼見同區球隊不斷補強，金鶯卻持續流失戰力，巴爾的摩太陽報直言，金鶯在冬季會議得有所作為，否則明年很難衛冕分區冠軍。

勇士昨天正式介紹以4年4400萬美元簽下的馬卡奇斯，大聯盟生涯前9年都效力金鶯，幾乎是球隊看板人物，但他高中、大學都在喬治亞州度過，加入勇士有回家的感覺，不過，金鶯球迷看到他穿上別隊球衣，可能以太陽報用的「超現實」形容最貼切。

金鶯失去的3大主將都拿到4年合約，總值1.38億美元，儘管金鶯願意提高團隊薪資上限，但總管杜奎特認為球團無法承擔這種風險。

光芒在總教練梅登被小熊挖走後，昨天宣布由前印地安人牛棚教練凱許接任，過去沒有實際大聯盟督軍的經驗，仍被光芒欽點成為隊史第5位總教練，且他今天才滿37歲，將是大聯盟現役最年輕的教頭。
