向來以雄厚禁區戰力聞名的灰熊，昨在替補悍將魯爾攻下全隊最多20分與生涯新高12籃板協助下103比87大勝熱火，中止2連敗，也守住西區次席位置。

灰熊帶著7分領先優勢進入第4節，熱火雖想力拚扭轉局面，但魯爾單節9分，以19比9攻勢徹底澆熄對手反撲氣焰。魯爾上場24分鐘，12投7中，包含兩記三分球，全場砍進20分，比熱火全隊替補貢獻的19分還要高。

魯爾賽後表示，「我很專注對手每個動作，然後把握每次出手機會。」
