本週以來國際原油價格再跌近 9%，交易員紛紛警告油價可能還沒有見底。油價今年六月時，一度高達每桶 107 美元，現在幾乎打了對折。

受國際原油下跌影響，美國國內汽油價格跟著下跌。美國商業部公佈的最新零售業銷售情況顯示，消費者確實因此有更多錢用在購物，反映出油價下跌確實是經濟利多，未來美國經濟可望持續穩定改善。

分析師表示，目前市場焦點集中在低油價的好處上，少有人關注通貨緊縮風險與能源產業投資衰退疑慮。如果油價再下跌，石油輸出國組織 OPEC 小國可能被迫增產，藉由賣出更多原油創造更多收入，支撐國內經濟，屆時原油市場可能還要面臨另一波賣壓。

美國輕原油期貨下跌99美分，收在每桶59.95美元。

布蘭特原油期貨下跌0.92%，來到每桶63.63美元。
