路透報導，美國副司法部長柯爾22日說，美國和古巴建立歷史性的新關係，美國官員尋求古巴遣返逃犯的可能性也升高。

柯爾在司法部記者會中說：「我認為我們將和古巴改善關係的這項事實，將提高我們成功讓那些人返回美國的可能性。」
