最薄 LED 問世，只有 3 顆原子厚度 LED 照明可說是明日之星，具有省電不發熱的特性，廣泛運用在路燈、顯示螢幕， 包括電視、手機螢幕。但你知道現在技術進步，LED 燈可望能做到 3 顆原子的厚度嗎？ 華盛頓大學 (University of Washington) 的研究團隊做出世界最薄的 LED 燈， 此項技術突破可望讓電子裝置做得更薄，並且有更多樣化的應用可能。 華盛頓大學材料科學工程和物理學系助理教授 Xiadong Xu 說： 「我們有辦法製造大概是最薄的 LED，只有 3 顆原子厚但仍具有機械強度。 這種暨薄且可折疊的 LED ，對於行動及整合電子裝置來說相當重要。」 目前市面上電子裝置廣泛應用 LED， 但這些 LED 通常比這次開發出來的 LED 厚 10~20 倍。 Xu 與學生 Jason Ross 的研究成果刊登在《自然奈米科技期刊》 ，3 月 9 日在網路出現。 論文連結：www.nature.com/nnano/journal/vaop/ncurrent/full/nnano.2014.26.html http://technews.tw/2014/03/14/thinnest-led-in-the-world-only-three-atoms/ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 111.250.160.230
